I see your return to startups much more than a large corporation. I can see you thriving in any of the tech that is helping make healthcare (physical or mental) less archaic. You are probably more innovative than the large corporations can deal with. I would love to see you own your own business & get investors. If you decide to do so, I would be interested to hear about it. When the existing systems aren't healthy, sometimes it's better to replace the entire system so it is built on better architecture.

Adam, my friend, what you should do is to *write a book* about true effective ways to manage projects. Lets grab a coffee at Seattle Sunshine Coffee next week and talk about it more perhaps/

Thanks for the kind suggestion, I've spent 13 years consulting on this subject and found it's not desired. Most of what's happening in the enterprise leadership and project management is theater. I know many people smarter than myself trying to move this needle and it ain't moving for them either because ultimately the entire issue is one of power. As soon as you bring coherence and data, you find out who's the tyrant because you get fired. Well, I do anyway. :-D

As I've said to many I've trained in probabilistic forecasting and other methods "If I'm suddenly not here anymore, you know not to be seen doing this."

I get fired, so you don't have to! should have been my profesional motto.
